The History of Fine Tours New Zealand
Why choose Fine Tours New Zealand

Named after the very first tour we designed, Fine Tours New Zealand was established in 2004. Our business was simple and the team of just two (David & Kerry Kettle) worked from their kitchen table in Kimbell, a small south Canterbury town of just 20 people. In a few years however the population had grown by 10% with the births of their 2 kids, Alex and Dan. Although many things have changed since then the most important reasons for the success of the business hasn't - and that's an uncompromising determination to deliver the best experience to our guests and to employ and work with great people.

We believe nothing is better than honest, old-fashioned person to person service from someone on the ground, right here in New Zealand who is passionate about the product they represent. Give us a call today to talk about your plans and let us show you what a true specialist can do. After all, when the experience matters, experience matters! We carefully select the people we work with to ensure they deliver a great experience at every interaction, from the very first email or phone call to the last farewell.

Since 2010 we have been based in Wanaka, on the South Island of New Zealand. Many Kiwis know Wanaka as their preferred ski or summer holiday destination. Nestled between the mountains, we are rewarded by wonderful views, plenty of outdoor sports and spectacular seasonal changes. Although most travellers from overseas haven't initially heard of Wanaka, they are always blown away by its beauty and we are only an hour away from the very popular Queenstown. You can read about our sales team below and reach out to any of them at any time for a tailor-made New Zealand or Australian holiday.
