Now, as much as ever, when working with us to plan your New Zealand Tour you will receive the best possible service, exclusive inside knowledge of New Zealand, and 24/7 on-the-ground support while you travel - and you can rest assured that we have your best interests at heart should any unforeseen circumstances arise.
While it is not of major concern here in New Zealand, many of our clients are asking what would happen to their booking if their holiday plans are altered due to Coronavirus. We want to be as transparent as possible, so here’s our current policy:
If you book your travel with us and later find yourself in the position of having to postpone your New Zealand tour as a result of airline schedule changes or travel advisories due to the current Coronavirus issues, we will offer flexibility as follows:
- We can rebook your itinerary for a date in the future. Cancellation and change fees from some individual suppliers may still apply. There may also be some changes to the cost as the items may have a different price for different dates. We will however waive any of our usual change fees, and advocate on your behalf for a waiver or discount on supplier fees. Your consultant can advise you on individual supplier policies.
- If you cannot commit to a new travel date immediately, you can take 90 days to consider your new dates, for travel any time before 31 December 2021. We will hold any funds paid and apply these to a trip when you are ready to rebook. These will be secure in a separate trust bank account we use for all client funds.
For any other postponement issues or reasons to cancel we strongly advise you purchase travel insurance – i.e. unforeseen events at home. Please see our standard terms and conditions for more information.
If any components of the tour that have been purchased are cancelled or become unavailable, you will receive a refund for those components.
So, all in all, should you find that you need to postpone your trip due to Coronavirus, you can rest assured that your money and booking is in safe hands.
